I studied Architecture and the structural elements of buildings. I started my professional career designing and selling roof and floor trusses. My fascination for Architecture blossomed from there where I admired old designs and industrial components of buildings. 

I have designed several single family homes most built in Florida with my last custom designed home built in Jupiter on the water. Florida was where I really started to take interest in the landscaping of buildings and then in the wild. When I started painting it was more testing what medium I would enjoy most. I have always been comfortable with lead on velum but water color and eventually oil would really begin to express how I see things around me. Floridas landscape provides endless subjects and a challenge to detail all of its beauty. 

I feel passionate about landscape painting and am enjoying enlarging the scale of canvas to showcase this. I would eventually love to add my love for Architecture into my painting. Recently I have been working on painting with less precision which has lead me to fast growing love for the French artists of impressionist paintings and plein air style painting. I am always studying who I feel brings me closer to what I feel expresses my art the best since I have had no formal training. I love the self starting process of art and the journey to its completion, if it ever is complete.
